Hot Foil and heat transfer printing

Hot foil printing allows glossy metallic colours such as gold or silver to be used. A copper stamp applies heat to print the foil into the material.

This technique is also used to print on embossed or engraved logos and on objects like wallets or wooden boxes.

Holograms and wood patterns are also printed this way.

Heat transfer is the polychrome variant of monochrome hot foil printing. Heat transfers are pre-printed designs, pictures or decorations on rolls of paper. A dry process ensures permanent adhesion of high-quality pre-printed pictures to hard as well as soft plastics and rubber using a hot stamp press.
